What goes into this forecast?
Starting money is the balance snapshot on your plan’s start date. Only include payments still ahead. Everyday spending applies on every forecast day, including that date. For an early warning, expenses are counted before income on the same day; the chart shows that day’s lowest balance. Estimates aren’t promises, and history doesn’t automatically change your balance or scheduled bills.

Coming up
A forecast is only as good as its inputs.
THE RECORD BEHIND THE PATTERNS
Your transactions
Review history and make the categories fit your life.
History supports spending review. Importing a statement does not change your starting balance or add future bills.
CSV format & duplicate handling
Cash App: download your official activity CSV and import it directly. Completed cash transactions are included; pending and failed payments are excluded. Fees stay separate from transfers. Peer payments and unidentified records need category review. Reimports use Cash App transaction IDs where available. Records without an ID use a fallback that may need review on overlapping exports.
For other CSV files, use columns date, description, amount, category with dates as YYYY-MM-DD. Category is optional. Negative amounts are spending; positive amounts are income or refunds. Use the Transfer category for transfers and credit-card payments so spending totals exclude them. Identical statement reimports are skipped; overlapping statements with indistinguishable repeated purchases may need review.

Your AI · optionalONLY WHEN YOU ASK
Bring your own AI
Connect an MCP-compatible AI to the local read-only bridge, or download a context file to share with your chosen AI. No model API key or automatic AI calls.
Connect your AI locally
In an AI client that supports local MCP servers, add a stdio server with command node and the absolute path to scripts/ai-bridge.mjs as its argument. The local app includes this script. Tools expose a summary, transactions, forecasts and temporary scenarios. They do not modify records or run automation.
Use this instruction with your AI: “Use the finance tools only when I ask. Explain assumptions, distinguish estimates from recorded data, and do not change my plan.”
Connecting a tool gives that AI access to the data it requests. Share only with an AI you choose.
Where your data lives
Exports contain financial details. Your bank login is never requested here. The import inbox, database and backups are excluded from the hosted app’s source.
